jQuery is all around you. You see it on hugely popular sites such as Twitter and Facebook. When you visit Yahoo! or Google, there it is. Someone’s Aunt Mary has a snazzy Web site with jQuery effects for her pet photography business. But there you are, using animated gifs. Your site looks dated, and you aren’t keeping up with your competition. It’s time for you to add the power of jQuery to your site.

You can download jquery at Jquery website. Click here to download

To create your page, do the following:
1. Open the text editor or HTML editor of your choice.
2. Type the following code into the text document:

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC “-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN”
“http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd”>
<html>
<head>
<title>My Test Page</title>
<script type=”text/javascript” src=”js/jquery-1.4.min.js”></script>

<script type=”text/javascript”>
$(document).ready(function(){
//Do things here
alert($(‘img’).attr(‘alt’));
});
</script>
</head>
<body>
<p>This is my test page.</p>
<img src= “images/home.gif” height=”28” width=”28” alt=”This is a test
image.”>
</body>
</html>

3. Save test.html and view it in your Web browser.
You now see the alt of the image displayed in the alert box.

In previous post we saw about how to create blogger site. In that blogger site, we have a big url(www.yoursitename.blogspot.com) this will not be good for users to spread a word to their friends.

So here we now reduce the url size like .co.in, .co.uk,like that.. these are domain are costs. But our aim to create free domain. so we create our site on free domains.

Following websites offering free domain name:

www.freedomain.co.nr (recommended)

www.co.cc

I recommend co.nr domain name it ll be easy for making redirection to our site. In co.cc also same process only but co.cc website takes more time for approval of our site. so we go for instant activation of co.nr domain name

Steps to create free domain and redirection:

  1. Go to www.freedomain.co.nr
  2. Check availability of domain name , type domain name(website name) and click check!
  3. if its available then click signup here at bottom of page.
  4. Register the account with your domain
  5. after filling so much details type redirect url as your blogger  site address. Redirect url to Http://www.yoursitename.blogspot.com
  6. click register and wait for activation code on your mail
  7. Check your mail and type activation code to activate your account and login.
  8. Now your successfully created website with normal domain (www.yoursitename.co.nr). Congratulations!

If any doubts in above procedures write in comments below! thank you
